Susan Ricci Rogel, Chesapeake Chorale accompanist since 1997, is a highly sought-after collaborative pianist in the Washington metro area. Her venues include Weill Recital Hall/Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, DAR Constitution Hall, The Barns at Wolf Trap, and Strathmore Hall, among others. She is an active vocal coach and works with many operatic and musical theatre singers in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore areas.  Ms. Rogel is an adjunct music faculty member and staff accompanist for Prince George’s Community College, and Organist/Music Director at Christian Community Presbyterian Church. She has co-owned Ricci Rogel Music Studios since 1991. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Accompanying and Instrumental Chamber Music from the University of Maryland. She also earned a Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, in Piano Performance from the University of Maryland. Her teachers include Andor Kiszely, Bradford Gowen, Evelyn Garvey, Robert McCoy and Arlene Shrut. Ms. Rogel is a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society of Women Educators and the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
